GL Adviser uses artificial intelligence to generate draft documents including letters before action, particulars of claim, witness statements, ET1 claim forms, and other legal documents. AI-generated drafts are starting points for professional review and adaptation. They are not finished legal documents and must not be provided to clients without thorough review and amendment by the adviser.

The AI may produce content that contains errors, omissions, outdated references, incorrect citations, or content that is not appropriate for the specific circumstances of a matter. Court rules, practice directions, and procedural requirements change frequently. Advisers must verify all AI-generated content against current CPR, the relevant practice directions, and any applicable pre-action protocols before use.

It is the adviser's sole professional responsibility to review, verify, correct, and adapt all AI-generated content before delivering it to any client or filing it with any court or tribunal.

2. Not Legal Advice

Litigo Limited (trading as GoLitigo) does not provide legal advice. GL Adviser is a technology platform providing software tools. No communication from Litigo Limited, through the GL Adviser platform or otherwise, constitutes legal advice.

GLEAN advisers are independent practitioners. Advice, feedback, and guidance provided by GLEAN advisers through the platform is given on the adviser's own professional account, under their own professional obligations, and covered by their own professional indemnity insurance. Litigo Limited does not supervise or warrant the advice given by any GLEAN adviser.

No solicitor-client relationship is created between any user and Litigo Limited at any time.

3. No Warranty

The GL Adviser platform, its AI tools, and all content generated by the platform are provided on an as-is and as-available basis without any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. Litigo Limited does not warrant that:

(a) AI-generated content is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any particular purpose;

(b) the platform will be available without interruption, error, or delay;

(c) any document generated by the platform complies with current court rules, practice directions, or procedural requirements;

(d) use of the platform will produce any particular legal outcome.

Legal procedure in England and Wales is subject to frequent change. Advisers are responsible for staying current with CPR updates, practice direction amendments, and changes to pre-action protocols.

4. Professional Responsibility

Advisers using GL Adviser remain at all times subject to their professional duties, regulatory obligations, and the standards set by their relevant professional body (including, where applicable, the SRA Standards and Regulations, CILEX professional standards, or equivalent). GL Adviser is a tool to assist professional practice, not a substitute for professional judgment.

Advisers must exercise independent professional judgment in relation to every matter they handle through the platform. The existence of an AI-generated draft does not reduce or displace the adviser's professional obligation to advise clients competently, honestly, and in their best interests.

Advisers are responsible for maintaining their own knowledge and competence in the areas in which they accept instructions. Instructions should not be accepted in practice areas in which the adviser lacks appropriate knowledge or experience.

5. Limitation of Liability

Full details of Litigo Limited's limitation of liability are set out in the Terms of Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Litigo Limited's liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to fees paid by the user in the preceding 12 months.
